Alecia has been on the staff the longest- since 1988. She can do everything from lab work, veterinary assisting, to office work and inventory control. She has a fantastic memory and can remember pets and people, which helps to make our care of animals easier. She and her husband Frank have two great cats Chomper and Little Foot.
Bernie has been with us as a veterinary assistant since 1998. Bernie lived in the Crestwood area while raising her three children, Bill, Brenda and Brian. Bernie recently became a grandma to Bill and his wife Ashley’s son, Liam. When Bernie is not busy enjoying her grandson, she is spoiling her cats, Buddy and Tippy, dogs, Watts and Jazmine and her horses Killian and Champ.
In 2003, Raquel started working at Crestwood Animal Clinic. She attended Joliet Junior College Veterinary Technician Program and became a CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician) in 2006. She is a great asset in surgery, the exam rooms, the laboratory and everywhere.
Raquel and her husband Andy had a baby daughter, Sofia in July of 2011. She joined big sister, Alex and big brother, Tyler. Mandi, their Jack Russell Terrier loves to play ball with her big sisters Alex and Sofia.
Jessica is the newest member of the Crestwood Animal Clinic. She joined the clinic in February of 2014. A graduate of Marist High School, Jessica attended Eastern Illinois University and graduated with a degree in biology in December of 2013. In March, Jessica started at Fox Vet Tech Institute. She is taking classes and studying to become a Veterinary Technician. After finishing her class work and externship, she will be eligible to take an examination to become a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT).Jessica has several pets who are excited about her new skills. She has Xena, a Border Collie; Angel, a Sheltie; Zoey, a Lab/Boxer mix and Cheerios, a Quaker parrot.
